Company History
CMC began in 1980 as a telecommunications-consulting
group. Using consultants with expertise in the desired field to
work on each project. Through the years CMC has grown and adapted
with the many changes in the telecom industry since the 1984 Divestiture
Ruling of Judge Greene. Being located in Washington, D.C. has enabled
CMC to access both the legal and regulatory resources of the government.
CMC has over (20) year's experience. CMC began preparing Requests
for Proposals (RFP) for new telecom equipment (PBX) as the market
changed from rentals to lease/purchase. At that time CMC designed
and implemented Long Distance Networks to be used in the new equipment.
In 1986 CMC began Billing Reconciliation. The audit/inventory uncovered
massive over billing due to both simple error and confusion as to
what could be legally billed after Divestiture.
As in 1980 when CMC began in anticipation of Divestiture, CMC has
now begun to expand it's consulting into Wireless Networks, Unified
Messaging and VOIP. As the Internet expands so does CMC's interest
in it. Since CMC acts as a consortium, the available consultants
are always the most skilled in that field.
